Please have your accounts and passwords organised before we arrive, and also please make sure your technician has supervised access to the main computer or smartphone if necessary.
It is recommended that you back up your data and devices before we show up, however we can provide this service if you are unsure about doing it yourself. We can also supply external hard drives, USBs and charging cables at an additional cost.
Our standard flat rate is $80/hour, however we charge by the half-hour to keep your costs down. Subscription based packages are also available.
All forms of Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as chipped EFTPOS, cash and mobile payments. An invoice will be set up upon completion of the work, and payment taken at that time.
Along with the services listed in the Home Support and Business Support pages, call out fees are also included in the first half-hour of all jobs.
It depends on your specific issue, and the speed of your computer and network connection – but our technicians will work quickly and efficiently to resolve all your issues so that you can get on with more important matters!
Generation Tech can provide hardware and software at the client’s request.
At the end of every job, our technicians sit with the client to go through the work that has been completed and show them how to easily work with any changes made. We encourage the user to take notes where necessary, and also give them the opportunity to practice any new skills before the technician leaves.
We are also proud to provide specific training across a large range of devices upon request.
